Willobee Spider's Missing Thread

Willobee Spider spent all morning building his web.
When he finally finished, he stepped back proudly.
But his smile quickly faded.
One thread was missing.
He stared at the gap.
"It's ruined," he sighed.
The more he looked, the bigger the mistake seemed.
Just then, a soft breeze drifted through.
The web swayed gently and caught the sunlight, scattering tiny sparkles through the air.
Beatrice Butterfly paused as she flew by.
She admired the web for a moment.
"Oh, Willobee, it's beautiful," she said.
Willobee blinked. "Beautiful?" he asked.
He looked at his web again.
For the first time he noticed the shiny threads instead of the one thread that was missing.
That day, Willobee learned something important:
Things don't have to be perfect for them to be beautiful.
